Open Internet Explorer In Full Screen Via A Desktop Shortcut

The following notes will inform you how to create a desktop shortcut to a webpage and have it open in full screen mode.

  1. Most people might know how to create a shortcut on the desktop.  Right click, and select “New” and then select “Shortcut”

2. Where it asks you what you want to create the shortcut to, you have an option to browse or just type a path, here type the following, with the domain name you require :-

“C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe” -k http://www.systemtek.co.uk

3. Click “Next”

4. Give the shortcut a name, this can be anything.  This is what it will show as on your desktop.
