Kering Foundation Fake Donation Emails

There is a lot of fake emails doing the rounds at the moment that appear to offer a gift or some donation from the Kering Foundation.

The usual format for these e-mails is they come from a genuine account that has been hijacked, and they then want you to e-mail another address for further information.  Once you e-mail the other address they request personal details, then at some point they request an up front payment in order to release your money.

We have seen e-mails that contain the following text :-

A donation is made to you by Mr. Francois. Reply to this email: ( [email protected] ) for more details

A donation is made to you by KERING FOUNDATION. Reply to this email: [email protected] for more details.

A donation is made to you by KERING FOUNDATION. Reply to this email: [email protected]

A donation is made to you by KERING FOUNDATION. Reply to this email: ([email protected] ) for more details.

As you can see from the above examples they are all in a very similar format.

These e-mails are spam they are not from the Kering Foundation.
