A vulnerability in Cesanta Mongoose could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service (DoS) condition on a targeted system.The vulnerability is due to a use-after-free condition that exists in the mg_http_free_proto_data_cgifunction of the affected software. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by submitting crafted requests to the targeted system. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to execute arbitrary code or cause a DoS condition on a targeted system.The vendor has not confirmed the vulnerability, and software updates are not available.
