The product presents a high risk of fire as the internal componentry of the battery was poorly connected, with wires trapped and solder joints directly on wires with removed sheathing. Under fault conditions, this could cause the product to enter into thermal runaway, causing a fire. Improvements are also required to marking and labelling.
The product does not meet the requirements of the General Product Safety Regulations 2005.
