Microsoft fix’s change which broke its 365 service for thousands of users this morning
Microsoft 365 users are having various issues viewing emails in their inboxes, sending messages and saving drafts. In a message on X (Twitter) Microsoft has acknowledged the problem and it seems the service is starting to work again for many users (1.30pm GMT). DownDetector, a website that tracks outages, said problems started at approximately 8am on Monday morning.
Users have reported issues with Outlook, Exchange Online and Universal Print.
The latest updates reads “While we continue to work on mitigating the issue, we’ve added a comprehensive list of impacted services and scenarios to the more info section. For more information, please refer to MO941162 in the admin center.”
We’ve identified a recent change which we believe has resulted in impact. We've started to revert the change and are investigating what additional actions are required to mitigate the issue. For more information, please refer to MO941162 in the admin center.
