Network CIDR Subnet Table

Shown below is a  CIDR Subnet Table.

As an example, one of the most common subnets is a /24 and as you can see from the table below the subnet mask for this is 255.255.255.0 and we have a total of 256 IP addresses in this range, 254 of which are usable.

The first IP address in a range is the network identification, and the last IP address in a range is the broadcast address, these are the two IP addresses in a range that can not be used.
