Russian TV listings hacked to display war crime messages on Victory Day
Millions of Russians were faced with a message condemning the war crimes in Ukraine after a major TV listings system was hacked during the Russian Victory Day celebrations.
Programme titles and previews on various channels were replaced with text stating: ‘On your hands is the blood of thousands of Ukrainians and their hundreds of murdered children. TV and the authorities are lying. No to war.’

Former Russian presidential candidate Ksenia Sobchak said some channels have been affected since last night. “At night and in the morning, residents of Russia who wanted to watch festive TV programme stumbled upon such messages. I wonder who exactly was hacked. Whose head will fly off his shoulders?” she said.
