Kremlin website taken down and Russian TV channels are hacked and broadcast Ukrainian songs
According to various reports Russian TV channels appear to have been hacked and are broadcasting Ukrainian songs. In addition to this all of the Russian government webpages are also down.
Just the other day Anonymous took down the website for RT, a well known Russian state media channel. Other Kremlin related sites have also been attacked, including the Ministry of Defence.
In a video message that has been posted online by the hacker collective called Anonymous, a member of the masked group speaks directly to Vladimir Putin – see video below.
On its twitter accounts Anonymous confirmed they were “involved in operations against the Russian Federation.”
Reports started to emerge on social media that someone had hacked into Russian state TV channels and some were broadcasting Ukrainian music and national symbols.
Victor Zhora, the deputy chairman of Ukraine’s State Service of Special Communications and Information Protection, told Politico that Ukraine’s government is “preparing to wipe its computer servers and transfer its sensitive data out of Kyiv if Russian troops move to seize the capital.”
