eBay sellers can no longer use PayPal

New terms and conditions for eBay have come into effect which means they will now pay sellers directly rather than through PayPal. PayPal was originally acquired by eBay in 2002, and the two have worked in partnership ever since.

These new changes mean that eBay buyers can still pay with PayPal, but sellers will be paid straight into their bank accounts.

The downside of this new method is that payments into bank accounts will take longer, and according to online forums some users are not happy about this new payment system.

You will get a notification on the eBay app or by email regarding the changes. You need to follow the instructions to add a bank account, which should take a few minutes. Once you change, you won’t be able to get paid by PayPal.
