Coronavirus(COVID-19) – Email Scam

We have been made aware of the following e-mail scam. This e-mail has a UK government and NHS logo attached.

If you receive the below e-mail please delete it and do not respond, it is a scam :-

This is a nationwide appeal in efforts against Coronavirus(COVID-19)

The NHS partners are looking for individuals who can support in the purchase of medical equipment and supplies, providing accommodation for key staff and welfare initiatives to support staff and more – not just now, but in the weeks and months to come.
This is part of the Government’s response to Coronavirus(COVID-19).
During this time of crisis, the NHS will be there for you and your family. Now its our time to support all the NHS staff providing that excellent care – and say thank you.
Right now, our staff are under an unprecedented amount of pressure and are working endlessly to deal with the impact of COVID-19. They are literally pulling out all the stops to ensure they are providing the very best of care now – and that they will be able to cope with the predicted rise in patient numbers.
Let’s keep all people safe especially our elderly and vulnerable patients.
Only by uniting together can we beat this virus that is sweeping our country.
Please make a nominal donation of 10 pounds to aid us in this crucial fight.
For those that wish to make greater contributions of up to 50 pounds+, feel free to do so, this is greatly encouraged.
Monthly financial reports will be provided to all of our supporters in order to track the outgoings of every penny earned in this fight against COVID-19. It will be available at the NHS website at the end of each month.
