Cyber-security breach detected in The Indian Army

ANI News reports that a senior Indian Army intelligence officer detected a cybersecurity breach in a computer that was connected to the Army’s intranet.

“The cybersecurity breach was detected by the Indian Military personnel throughout a routine examine when malware was discovered within the laptop of a senior officer,” military sources advised ANI.

The Army has been issuing regular warnings about malware to all its staff and advising them how to deal with such issues.

The investigation has been began and it’s being investigated how the malware got onto the laptop.
