Apache Camel File Directory Traversal Vulnerability [CVE-2019-0194]

A vulnerability in Apache Camel could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to conduct a directory traversal attack on a targeted system.The vulnerability exists because the affected software does not properly validate user-supplied input. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending an HTTP request that submits malicious input to the affected software. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to gain read-only access to sensitive files on the targeted system, which could be used to conduct further attacks.Apache has confirmed the vulnerability and released software updates.
