The largest IPTV network in Europe that offers 800 pay channels gets shut down

EuroPol has reported that it has led an operation at European level against the illegal distribution of signals through IPTV together with countries such as the United Kingdom and Denmark, as well as Europol. In total, 11 “farms” of servers have been located for a network that offered 800 payment channels, movies and premiere series for between 40 and 460 euros per month. It is one of the largest operations against illegal content distribution in recent years.

This all arises from a complaint filed by the Premier League for an alleged offense against intellectual property by a website in Malaga. It offered paid IPTV subscriptions with access to several channels. These were sold in packages with access to different contents, reaching more than 800 television channels or a complete “video store” of films and protected series, all of them premiere, as well as a list of foreign radio stations.
