OnePlus Plans To Launch A Smart TV
The smart phone maker OnePlus has just announced plans to make its first television, which could be due out at some point next year.
Over the past five years OnePlus have built eight flagship smartphones and an operating system embraced by millions of users around the world, so we can expect something exciting from this new TV.
They are also asking for your help to name the product ! Find out more and suggest a name here. The OnePlus TV will be developed by a new department within OnePlus.
In a statement the founder and CEO of OnePlus Pete Lau said :-
For most of us, there are four major environments we experience each day: the home, the workplace, the commute, and being on-the-move. The home – perhaps the most important environment experience – is just starting to enjoy the benefits of intelligent connectivity.
We want to bring the home environment to the next level of intelligent connectivity. To do this, we are building a new product of OnePlus’ premium flagship design, image quality and audio experience to more seamlessly connect the home.
We call it: OnePlus TV.
