How To Fix – This display does not support HDCP – On Sky TV

So you have found this page because your Sky box is giving you the error “This display does not support HDCP…..”

We have seen this a few times, and maybe lucky for us the fix was just to turn the Sky box off and then back on again.

Another possible fix is that if your TV has another HDMI socket, disconnect the HDMI cable from the current socket and try another. If your Sky Q box is connected to a speaker system or device other than your TV, try connecting your HDMI cable directly between your box and your TV.
