Power is expected to be restored in all homes across the country after adverse weather hit supplies in more than 40,000 households last week. Scottish and Southern Energy said most of the homes now had power after engineers started work at first light. The last batch of about 100 homes to have power re-connected were in the Dunblane and south Perthshire areas.
